Few natural wonders have moved Azya as deeply as Ertá Alé, the "smoking mountain". This basaltic shield volcano rises from the Danakil Depression in Ethiopia's Afar region and holds one of the few permanent lava lakes on Earth, surrounded by shimmering salt flats and dark rock. What Is Azya? A Niche Perfume House Inspired by East African Volcanoes

Azya is a niche perfume house whose first six fragrances were dedicated to the volcanoes of East Africa. With Ertá Alé, the house goes back to its most emotional roots: centuries-old rituals, the elements in their purest form, and the outlook of the Habesha, a culture that lives to the rhythm of the elements and sees a new beginning in every change.

Ertá Alé 1 is a tribute to the element of Air: the moment clouds drift across the crater and heat turns into lightness. Ivy and clove leaf open with a transparent freshness, iris, clove and maté unfold a powdery, floral elegance, and balsamic notes, amber and cistus add a soft warmth. Ertá Alé 2 — Aquatic Aromatic Extrait de Parfum (Water)

Ertá Alé 2 is dedicated to Water, the origin of life: a crater lake in the first light. Ocean notes, samphire and cardamom open with a vibrating freshness, lavandin, clary sage, sea salt and caper blossom build a clear maritime heart, and ambergris, vetiver and agarwood bring calm and depth. Fresh, inspiring and limitless.

Ertá Alé 3 — Aromatic Woody Extrait de Parfum (Earth and Fire)

Ertá Alé 3 unites Earth and Fire: the glowing force beneath the surface and the dark matter from which something new is born. Bergamot and almond open with a subtle brightness, immortelle, pistachio and myrtle add a warm, slightly salty facet, and tobacco, tonka bean, vanilla and patchouli melt into a deep, earthy base. Intense, sensual and archaic.
