Oud Rain by Renier Perfumes is a rain of tropical joy wrapped in oud — an optimistic, conquering fragrance inspired by the painting of the same name. Presented at Esxence 2018. Nose: Daniel Josier.

A delicious departure of tropical fruits featuring mango, papaya, pineapple, tangerine and plum offers a fantastic start to positivism and euphoria — combined with curiosity and the desire to discover more. Cypress joins the resinous side of the mango, transmitting a magical, green, elegant, bitter and captivating touch.

The heart carries the essence of the composition: agarwood (oud) elevated by nutmeg, saffron and sandalwood — a warm, spicy, meditative core that plays on the contradiction of bitter and sweet.

The base grounds it in oud, animal notes, cedar and labdanum — dark, resinous and long-lasting, a woody drydown of dried fruits and quiet strength.

An oud that doesn’t get on your nerves — mildly spicy, fruity, and truly niche.
